About Solecon Laboratories
The Founding of Solecon Labs
In 1974, Dave Dickey drew on his PhD in physics and his research on spreading resistance probes from the early 1960’s at Westinghouse, and signed a 1.5 year contract with the Bureau of Standards. With government support and a loaned spreading resistance probe, Solecon Labs was opened in Costa Mesa, CA in Jan, 1975. Dave’s research helped create spreading resistance analysis (SRA) standards
By 1978, the company had experienced enough growth to open a second office. This new location was opened in Silicon Valley, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion and increased presence within the industry. In 2002, the company continued its growth trajectory by breaking ground on a new office in Reno, Nevada. The opening of this office represented another milestone, further extending the company’s reach and operational capabilities.
Our Commitment to Employees
